Online lecture “What does Solidarity Mean?” with Oskar Brabanski Tuesday, 21.04.2026, 6pm (CET), in German with translations

Dear colleagues and friends from the Danube Region and other European countries We warmly invite you to our next online event in the frame of the “Fit4Democracy” project:   On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (CET), we look forward to welcoming Oskar Brabanski, advisor at the Welcome Center of the IHK Ulm, Germany. Oskar Brabanski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Political Theory.   In his lecture “What Does Solidarity Mean?”, he will explore the philosophical and biblical origins of the concept as well as its limitations. In her lecture, “Intergenerational Cooperation – A Step Towards Active and Sustainable Local Communities” Ljiljana Čumura will demonstrate how to strengthen intergenerational exchange and its contribution to active, sustainable, and future-oriented communities.
