Project Overview
Strengthening Democracy Through Intergenerational Collaboration
Fit 4 Democracy is an international initiative dedicated to strengthening democracy by bringing together different generations. In intergenerational groups, participants develop ideas to boost civic involvement and reinforce democratic values. Through an interactive learning process—both online and in-person—participants experiment with various forms of civil society participation and create their own initiatives for a united, peaceful, and strong European community.
Project Timeline and Support
The project kicks off in January 2025 and runs until the end of 2026. It features regular online meetings, international in-person exchanges, and targeted financial support from ILEU for particularly committed groups and innovative ideas.
