THE COMPETITIONS
From an idea to participation
Democracy2Live: ideas with impact
The idea competition invited simple, realistic and creative activities that encourage participation and dialogue: discussion rounds, storytelling cafés, games, videos, improvisational theatre and actions in public spaces.
The best ideas received €400 each for implementation. The resulting projects were documented for sharing through Fit4Democracy.
Democracy2Go: democracy on film
The video competition invited creative films of up to three minutes, showing democratic values in schools, communities, workplaces and everyday life. Contributions could tell personal stories or share inspiring experiences.
The competitions were linked to the international Danube-Networkers Partner Meeting at the Danube Festival in Ulm/Neu-Ulm in July 2026.
