Invitation exhibtion Photography exhibition “Women’s eyes/ Ochii femeilor” Thursday, 19.03.2026, 7 pm.

The exhibition is on display in the Library of Craiova and will going on tour, this evening by online performance.  Now in its second edition, presents a series of unique images taken by Soroptimists from the clubs of Cluj, Tărgoviște, Slatina, Bucharest, Suceava, Brasov, Timisoara and Craiova. Made by women and dedicated to women, traditionally celebrated in March, the exhibition expresses each author’s joy at finding herself in a moment of grace in the face of universal harmony. Coloring reality with a touch of beauty and sensitivity, the photographs presented take us from distant realms to tender interiors, reflecting the delicacy of the feminine soul. Through landscapes and flowers, lights and shadows, bold architectures, these moments, embedded in memory, are  given to the viewers for their enjoyment as a rebirth of hope for better and more beautiful things. The exhibition is curated by Cristina  Botez, SI Slatina who will guide us through the exhibition. After that, we will exchange impressions and ideas to the subject and to other possibilities to share creative  work we do. You are very wellcome, please inform others about this wonderful event.

24.03.2026, 6pm (CET): Online Lecture “Ethics of Educational Research: An agenda for discussion” with Dr. Hugh Busher

Dear Collegues and friends from the danube Region and other European countries We warmly invite you to our next online event in the frame of the “Fit4Democracy” project: On Tuesday, 24 March 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (CET), we look forward to welcoming Dr. Hugh Busher, a former Associate Professor at the University of Leicester, UK, who was a member of the European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) and of the British Educational Research Association (BERA). In his lecture “ Ethics of Educational Research: An agenda for discussion ”, Dr. Busher will address key ethical questions in educational research. He will reflect on why ethical frameworks are essential for the quality and credibility of research and will discuss important issues such as informed consent, the protection of participants from harm, researchers’ moral responsibility, confidentiality, and data protection. In his presentation, Dr. Busher will also highlight how ethical considerations arise at every stage of a research project and why particular care is needed when working with vulnerable groups or sensitive topics. The lecture will provide valuable impulses for researchers, educators, and all those interested in responsible and reflective research practice.
