Fit 4 Democracy

This seed paper is more than just paper: it contains flower seeds. If you plant it, new life can spring from it – just as democracy flourishes when we nurture, protect and help shape it together.

Join in and document the growth:

Take photos of your seed paper: when you plant it, when the first shoots appear, and later, as the flowers grow and bloom. This will show how something beautiful can grow from a small act.

Because democracy is like a flower: it needs attention, care, patience and lots of people to look after it. If we nurture it together, it can blossom.

How it works:

Place the seed paper in a pot or directly into the soil. Cover it only lightly with soil so that the seeds get enough light and air. Water it gently and keep the soil moist regularly over the next few days and weeks. Place the pot in a bright spot, but not in direct midday sun.
With a little patience, the first shoots will begin to grow. Little by little, flowers will emerge from the small piece of paper.

Share your experience with us: Send us a picture or your growings seeds and the flowers to democracy@ileu.net and we will unify all pictures to a virtual blooming meadow. Let’s grow democracy together!
